Ogden, UT— Ogden Downtown Alliance (ODA), the nonprofit behind Farmers Market Ogden and Harvest Moon Celebration, found out this summer after being on a waiting list that a cottage at Ogden’s Christmas Village was available for them to host. The ODA team has been busy designing and building the new display inside their first cottage, with the windows covered to keep it hidden until the grand opening on Saturday, November 25.

Jessica Marine, ODA’s Arts and Events Manager for the past two years, offered a sneak peek inside earlier this week—a tiny replica of Ogden streets and historic buildings made of mostly paneling and coffee stirrers.

The whole team has been working on the design and new build since October.

The backdrop is a painted mural, by Marine who is an artist, and the familiar Ogden scene will incorporate local music—and of course the farmers market.

A few Ogdenites that some may recognize are also featured.

There are over 60 cottages to peek inside at Ogden’s Christmas Village at the grand opening on Saturday, November 25 until December 31.
