It’s going to be ‘An O-Town Christmas’
Ogden Independent News
There are only six Saturdays left until the Grand Opening of Ogden’s Christmas Village, the weeks-long holiday celebration that kicks off the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. And it’s back in 2021 with the complete lineup of favorite festivities we missed last year.
Warmly themed “An O-Town Christmas,” it all begins Saturday, November 27 with The Santa Run, the Holiday Electric Light Parade, and the official lighting of the Christmas Village and fireworks.
The Christmas Village will continue to light up downtown Ogden until January 1, free and open to the public every day from 5 p.m. to midnight, with live music in the amphitheater, Santa Claus visits, and Mrs. Claus tours. Tickets for the December 11 Breakfast with Santa event and fundraiser are available now.
The Ogden’s Christmas Village committee announced a call for volunteers on social media over the weekend. Family and friends are encouraged to sign up to help with the Holiday Electric Light Parade here and gather at the Ogden Amphitheater at 3:30 p.m. the day of the event. There are also still float openings if your organization wants to be part of the parade.
