Shhh...This gathering of fellow readers can not wind up in the law's books.
Join your rebel readers, gangsters, and perhaps the ghosts of Belle London and Al Capone for a night of pure debauchery!
Rhonda Lauritzen will unveil some of 25th Street's most scandalous stories that have yet to be told. Banned books will be poisoning more minds than moonshine in the 1920s. Bodies and books will be bedazzled in more ways than one.
And that's all I can say on paper. You just need to show up at the ghost and be brave enough to walk downstairs to find out the rest!
When: Saturday, March 29, from 5-7 p.m. (Or stay till close!)
Where: Unspoken, 211 25th St. (Look for the ghost. It's next to Lucky Slice)
Tickets: $15 (Includes the party, food, and a few surprises!)
Dress: Feathers, pearls, top hats, suspenders, and sparkles are all encouraged.
Books: Banned, local, historical, and whatever you want to read is supported.
