Last month, Ogden rock band Dude Cougar released the video to “Porcelain Bones,” off their new EP “Night Aches.”

The Ogden-based Dude Cougar band—Ivan Rose and Karl Wohlgemuth—released their EP “Night Aches” in October along with the video to its last track “Porcelain Bones,” filmed at Jake’s Shakes and Fort Buenaventura. The relatable blues-rock love song and its charmingly creepy video go dark and emerge with a spark. It’s a fun ride.

'“‘Porcelain Bones’ is a dark relationship song about self discovery. We really wanted to try writing a blues tune that was not typical, like with talented chords and such. With the video, Karl created a special dance called ‘The Kowboy Karl’ that we wanted to showcase. Also, I wanted to try to cry for the video singing parts, but we couldn’t find enough hard liquor to create the effect of utter heartache.” —Ivan Rose
