Weekly restaurant & bar reviews
Electric Alley Sliders, is the new bar grub inside The Yes Hell bar on Grant Avenue in downtown Ogden.
These hand-sized babes arrived Friday, October 1, created by one Ogdenite Nick Jones, a recent graduate from Park City Culinary Institute.
Friends Wimpy and Fritz and The Yes Hell are big supporters of Nick’s dream of stepping into the food scene. He says the sliders, nice hand-held pieces of deliciousness seemed perfect for a bar setting.
The menu is simple:
Burger $5.50
Grilled Hot Chicken $5
Pulled Pork $5
Waffle Fries $4
Poutine $7
Loaded Pork Fry $7
Easy on the wallet, more dollars for beer. Feelin’ Hazy is one of Nick’s favorites.
Noteworthy: Apricot Carolina-style BBQ sauce, pickled coleslaw, and poutine.
And vegans, they’ve got you. Vegan poutine and house made black bean burgers coming soon.
Gorgeous artwork by a local artist (very reasonably priced) graces the walls and is available for purchase.
