The Ogden Amphitheater is gearing up to host another incredible concert this summer to keep the music moving on Historic 25th Street. Newly formed It Was All A Dream Entertainment, LLC is coming out of the gates hot with their first show bringing us some West Coast hip-hop. The concert, Saturday, August 12, in Ogden, Utah, is headlined by Xzibit, Kurupt, Big Omeezy and more.

Helmed by Dusty Bernal, It Was All A Dream Entertainment, LLC is rooted in his time booking shows for Teazers, formerly a club in Ogden. After a break, Bernal “caught the bug” again and decided to get back to doing what he loves, booking shows that bring people together.

The first one back brings California rappers Xzibit—former host of the hit MTV show “Pimp My Ride”—and Kurupt, of The Dogg Pound with Daz Dillinger, to downtown Ogden. Alongside these well-known headlining acts, is the return of Ogden native Big Omeezy.

Big Omeezy has worked alongside the famous E-40 since the mid-90s. After graduating from Ogden High School, Big Omeezy made the trek out to California where he decided to get into security and bodyguard work to get his foot in the door. This led to a relationship with E-40, and a host of other famous rappers which can be heard on his seven albums. This brought him to the release of his first album, “The Great Communicator,” in 2010.

Big Omeezy hasn’t performed in Ogden in a long time and is looking forward to having a reunion with old friends, family, and of course Ogden itself.

The show is also featuring a set from local musicians DJ GOYK and Krisdagong, seen around the Ogden and Salt Lake hip hop scenes.
