HAPPY ONE YEAR & BIG NEWS

First year of Ogdenite pocket guide covers.

DEAR OGDENITES,

Celebrating One Year and big news…

The free print ‘pocket guide’ is a little snapshot of things to see and do in Ogden. The pocket guide features the regular “Goings On” every day of the week, “The Biggies” not-to-be-missed events, and local Editor’s Picks: to dine, read, watch, listen and do. News, music, food reviews, and things-to-do lists are updated on our website every day.

The first Ogdenite pocket guide was released September 1, 2022. Every cover features artwork by a local artist.

I'm Deann, founder of The Ogdenite. After almost a decade of freelance writing for other local publications, I saw a lot happening in Ogden that was overlooked. I knew we needed and deserved something spectacular that is our own. One night in 2019, two words came to mind - "The Ogdenite.” I didn’t know yet what it would become.

I started writing a social media post every Wednesday, "Goings On About O-Town," inspired by The New Yorker's 'Goings On About Town'. Now we are a growing team of passionate writers, artists, and designers.
